PRIVACY POLICY

K&G Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Cornerstone Strength mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the data we collect.

1. Data We Collect

Account Data: Email address and name provided during sign-up.

Profile Data: Profile details you may provide, such as body weight, height, and age.

Fitness Data: Workout logs, sets, reps, and weight lifted that you manually enter.

Usage Data: Information about how you use the app and website, including device and app information and interactions with links, to help us fix bugs, improve performance, and understand which communications are useful.

Feedback Data: Messages you send us through the in-app feedback form, together with your app version and build number, operating system version, device model, and the screen you sent it from, so we can reproduce problems and reply. Your device's name is not included.

Email Communications Data: Whether optional emails are enabled for your account, provider synchronization status, unsubscribe and suppression history, and limited delivery events such as sent, delivered, clicked, bounced, or complained.

2. Apple Health & Health Connect

Cornerstone Strength can optionally connect to Apple Health (on iOS) and Health Connect (on Android).

What we write: If you choose to connect, we save your completed workouts (activity type, start time, and duration) to Apple Health or Health Connect so your training counts toward your activity goals. This happens only after you explicitly grant permission, and you can turn it off at any time in the app's Settings or by revoking access in Apple Health / Health Connect.

What we read: Nothing. The current version of the app does not read any data from Apple Health or Health Connect.

Where this data lives: Health data written by the app is stored on your device by Apple Health / Health Connect — it is never transmitted to our servers. The only related information we store is an anonymous record identifier that keeps your workout edits and deletions in sync with the health record.

How we will never use health data: We do not use Apple Health or Health Connect data for advertising, marketing, or data mining, and we never sell it or share it with third parties. We comply with Apple's HealthKit guidelines and Google Play's Health Connect permissions policy, including their limited-use requirements.

Deletion: Deleting a workout in the app removes the corresponding Apple Health / Health Connect record. Disconnecting the integration stops all future writes; previously written records remain in your health app under your control.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to provide workout tracking services, sync data across your devices, communicate essential account updates, and send occasional product updates or requests for feedback.

To avoid sending feedback requests to new or inactive accounts, we may use limited activity signals such as account age, completed-workout count, and the date of your most recent completed workout. We do not include workout contents, exercises, weights, sets, or reps in our email provider or marketing-email audience.

We do not sell your personal or fitness data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services to support the operation of our app, including cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and email delivery. These service providers may process your data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it. We only share the minimum data necessary for them to perform their services.

We use Resend to deliver product-update and feedback-request emails. Resend receives the account email address and limited contact, delivery, and unsubscribe information needed to deliver those messages and honor opt-outs. Resend does not receive your workout contents, Apple Health data, or Health Connect data from us.

5. Email Communications

Active Cornerstone Strength accounts may receive occasional product updates and requests for feedback. These communications are enabled by default for active accounts.

Every marketing email includes an Unsubscribe from emails link. Unsubscribing stops both product-update and feedback-request emails. It does not affect password resets, security notices, account confirmations, receipts, or other essential service messages.

We also suppress marketing delivery when an address produces a hard bounce or spam complaint. You may contact us if you unsubscribed by mistake and want to make a documented request to receive marketing email again.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal and fitness data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal data, including the corresponding email-provider contact, within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention or compliance records). You can request account deletion directly within the app settings or by contacting us.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored on servers located in the United States. If you are accessing our app from outside the United States, please be aware that your data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country with different data protection laws than your own. By using the app, you consent to such transfers.

9. Children's Privacy

Cornerstone Strength is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

10. Cookies & Tracking

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to improve your browsing experience and analyze site traffic. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. The mobile app does not use cookies.

11. Your Rights

Under applicable privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise applicable account rights within the app settings or by contacting us. You can opt out of marketing email at any time using the link in each marketing message.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app or on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
